![]() ![]() ![]() It is this focus on realism, combined with simplicity, that makes our libraries stand out from the crowd. Expect stacked background vocals, as well as different vowels across each singer’s range. So I was searching for free VST plugins when I found Native Instruments. While auto-tuning is always an easy option, we opted instead to tune the entire library manually, by ear, rather than stick rigidly to perfect tuning. SoundBetter Singers is a free sample library of high-quality background vocals featuring 5 world-class singers. To do this, we left much of the natural performance of each instrument intact. Tuning: Throughout the entire production process of every library we create, great care has been taken to make sure the tuning of each instrument is as realistic as possible. ![]() In addition to the developer’s sample libraries. In the list, you will find synths, choirs, sequencers, orchestral isntruments, pianos, guitars, ethnic instruments and more Native Instruments Kontakt is arguably the most famous and influential sampler available today. ![]() We feel that it’s worth the effort this is a fundamental aspect of the library, and will not be changed. We searched the web to pick the 20 kontakt libraries for you in 2024. This requires practising playing your melodies slightly ahead of the beat, which will become natural after a short while. To achieve this, we incorporated a delay system, whereby each new note you play in a legato phrase will be delayed by up to around 1/4 of a second. So far, my only workaround is to make a quick mix down, take every other audio track offline, and then record the part, bus K5 to an audio track and record it as audio, then remove the instrument from Kontakt.Latency / Delay: All of the libraries in the Cinematic Studio Series have been designed to maximise realism, especially when playing legato. Double-click the Session Strings 2.nki file to load the instrument. Click Instruments to open the products content. Locate Session Strings 2 in the Browser, on the left side of the user interface. I contacted Greg at Orange Tree, he says he's stumped. Open Kontakt as a plug-in in your host software (DAW) or as a stand-alone application. SonicCouture's Hammersmith involves some fairly extensive scripting. I never run more than one instrument at a time in Kontakt. In fact I've yet to see much of a CPU hit at all in anything done since upgrading. My library of NI instruments have been updated and now Kontakt is not loading them. I also see better results in MachFive with that method but don't see as much of a problem with a newer Mac Pro trash can. This is true of any VI, but you're probably seeing it more in K since more 3rd party instruments are (in my experience) available for it. Lighter weight one can share instances.Īccording to Magic Dave, this distributes the CPU load across more of the cores. Large sample count and/or heavily scripted instruments should be in their own instance. MIDI Life Crisis wrote:And one solution is to use more instances of Kontakt with less instruments is each. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this with certain Kontakt libraries. And none of the NI libraries (Session Strings Pro, Session Horns, Studio Drums, etc.) cause any problems. What's odd is that my largest K5 library, Soniccouture's Hammersmith piano, weighs in at over 45GB, and yet loading it does not peg my Performance meter, even at 128 Buffer setting. Changing the Buffer size to 1024 helps a bit, but not much. Loading any of these and then trying to play them usually causes the audio to stutter and drop out intermittently. It offers nothing that Komplete owners didnt already have in Session Strings Pro, Session Horns Pro, and the Kontakt factory library. Yes, I have the latest versions of these installed. I picked up session horns back when it first came out - and if the clients budget wont cover a real horn section - Session horns has hands down has been the best fit for section stuff. Specifically, Vir2's Electricity (18 GB data footprint), and all Orange Tree libraries (averaging about 1GB of data per library). I'm experiencing a very weird issue withĬertain libraries, when loaded, cause the Performance meter to show about 70% to 90% usage. Running DP 8.07 in 64-bit mode, OS X 10.10.3, Quadcore Mac Pro 5.1 with 32GB of RAM. I have the very latest version of Kontakt 5 (5.5). ![]()
